We were about 20 miles into a 28 mile poker run when we ran into some really slick, gooey mud sections on the run. My wife and I were on my 450 grizzly, and my son was on his 80 grizzly (2wd, of course!) After helping a fellow push his girlfriend up a few slick hills on his 660 raptor, we came to a slippy hill with a washout at the top of it. Sent the boy through first to see if he could make it (This little bike is simply AMAZING what it will make it through) He got stuck at the bottom of the hill, couldn't start up it - he was bottomed out on his axle. So I went around and went up the hill, turned around and ran my winch line down to him. He hooked it to his front bumper, and I proceeded to pull him up the hill with no problem. Instead of stopping and letting him try the washout by himself, I figured I would just keep backing up and pull him through it. The washout was on a gentle left-hand turn, and I was on the outside of the turn. Did I mention it was VERY SLIPPERY?! Right rear wheel slipped down in the washout, and that was that, the bike ended up on it's side in the washout (which was about 2 foot deep!), with me laying on my back in about a foot of heavy gooey mud! The wife jumped off when it started to go, so she wasn't TOO muddy, but she wasn't very clean either.... I pushed the bike back upright while laying in the mud (why not, I was already covered!), and then stood on the left side of the machine and finished backing out of the washout (after reeling in my winch line, of course). I could hardly move my right side by the time we got back to the start/finish line of the run because of the thick layer of dried, caked mud all over me. I'll have to find those pictures we took at the finish....MUUUUDDDDD-IIIIIEEEEE!
PS. It was about 3 weeks after that that the wife decided she wanted to get a quad of her own to ride, so she now rides an '08 Grizzly 350 2wd, go figure!

There is a picture of me and my son after this ride in my gallery. Notice the right side of my grizzly, not to mention the right side of myself!
